Having a band like Dolium return in 2026 was on no one's bingo card. Maybe it's a sign? The stars have aligned? The end times are near?
An uninspired nostalgia trip this ain't! Dolium have returned all guns blazing with a driving slab of scuzz rock-tinged punk that immediately commands your attention. Bloodjoy and De Vine interweave pummeling guitar and hypnotic bass with machine-like precision, delivering something that doesn't let up in its fury.
This fury is matched by Bloodjoy's vocal delivery; you can hear the vitriol and poison that he's obviously struggling to contain. All My Sins sounds like it's coming from a band that has "seen some shit." The delivery of the line "My heart's taking a beating" is the sound of a pressure valve being released in punk form.
Dolium were always destined for punk rock royalty; it just seems like they were waiting for the right time.
